Reducing Plastics in Fashion: A TaFF x WWF Virtual Roundtable

On June 16, 2020, TaFF hosted the first virtual roundtable co-in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) to discuss the challenges and opportunities on reducing plastic packaging in the fashion industry. Over 80 participants gathered to discuss plastic packaging in the fashion industry.

The roundtable commenced with an introduction to plastics, touching on alternative materials, regulatory and consumer trends, and complemented with a sharing session by H&M on its plastic initiatives. Following which, participants were invited to discuss the challenges and solutions to address plastics in their supply chain, and to determine a suitable course of action for the industry.
